Members of various European entities, belonging to the European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD), visited ATAM’s installations, including the Clinical Team and the head office. This visit is part of the dissemination activities of the ACAP project (Connected Supports for Personal Autonomy) and the digital transformation process of ATAM, which is supported by the EASPD through its experience exchange network, known as the Lighthouse Network.
The day began with a tour of the ATAM Clinical Team facilities, where ATAM’s general director, Ignacio Aizpún, and the CEO of ViveLibre, Héctor Díez, gave a presentation on the advances and projects in which the entity is immersed. Héctor Díez presented ViveLibre’s digital ecosystem. The different interventions addressed the key projects that ATAM and ViveLibre are developing to promote personal autonomy through technological innovation.
Then, José António García, psychiatrist of the Clinical Team, and David Prieto, data scientist, presented respectively the advances in Data Analysis and Clinical Indicators, highlighting how digitization is impacting on the care of people with disabilities.
During the afternoon, the EASPD delegation had the opportunity to learn first-hand about ViveLibre’s technological initiatives, its innovative devices and how the applications work, ending with an enriching discussion and questions session.
The exchange of experiences concluded with a visit to the DFA in Zaragoza, a key entity in the attention to users of the different ViveLibre services. There, the visitors were able to see how the call centre works, where specialized operators provide support to users in a personalized and efficient manner.
