Our neurologist and graduate on Nutrition, Isabel Bustamante, held a live chat with Telefónica employees through a virtual meeting celebrated as part of the Health and Wellbeing programme. The change in schedule and habits, and the rise in social gatherings around the table always make it hard to maintain appropriate and healthy routines.
However, it is always possible to adapt ourselves, and our specialist has highlighted some simple tips for everyone and others that are more specific for people with different types of pathologies, such as cardiorespiratory diseases or diabetes.
It is easy to follow some tips such as not arriving at dinner hungry, being keen on less fatty snacks, avoiding sausages and sauces, including vegetables in all dishes, and adding fresh fruit to desserts.
