On October 5th and 6th, ATAM took part in the congress “Challenges of Healthcare in Times of Transformation” organized by the Platform of Patients’ Organizations, analyzing the current situation and future challenges of healthcare in our country.
The congress was held at the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality of Madrid.
Throughout a series of conferences, round tables, and workshops, the meeting provided an opportunity to share the opinions of healthcare experts, technicians, and professionals in the sector, besides the experiences of patients and their families, told in first person.
ATAM was one of the professional organizations invited. Felipe Calderero, Telecommunications Engineer, Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, and member of the Epsilon project represented our entity.
Over two days, the analysis was on the current situation and future challenges in healthcare in Spain. There was also a debate on the proposed Law on Chronicity and an in-depth analysis of various projects that promote patient empowerment. ATAM’s participation focused on “Technology to improve the quality of life”.
