Desde el 20 de septiembre, el Equipo Clínico de ATAM pone en marcha una campaña de prevención de enfermedades neurodegenerativas con el objetivo principal de detectar de forma precoz estas patologías, así como proponer posibles estrategias que ayuden a reducir su sintomatología o a retrasar su evolución.
Todos los socios de ATAM, así como sus cónyuges y padres -todos mayores de 50 años- podrán realizar esta valoración y beneficiarse de las consultas, completamente gratuitas, hasta finales de 2021.
La neuróloga Isabel Bustamante coordinará esta campaña junto a especialistas en psicología, psiquiatría y medicina general para detectar precozmente estas enfermedades, establecer el mejor y más eficaz abordaje y realizar un seguimiento de su evolución, así como sensibilizar sobre la importancia de la prevención en estas patologías.
